A jigsaw is a powered handheld saw used to cut materials using a thin, reciprocating straight blade. The jigsaw is also known as a sabre saw, and is a portable version of a scroll saw and is used to make straight or intricate curved cuts (such as stenciled designs) in wood, metal, or other materials too.
